WORLD FESTIVAL ON THE BEACH: THE ALBARIA WINDSURFING CLUB AND THE IRON TEAM WILL PRESENT MOUNT PELLEGRINO’S FIRST TRIATHLON AQUATHLON.  TO TAKE PLACE ON SATURDAY THE 15^TH OF MAY AT 15.45

Palermo - 13^th may – The preperations at the Albaria Club in Mondello are heating up,  the Albaria is the organizing headquarters of the 19^th edition of the World Festival on the Beach, awaiting the opening of this great international event of sport, music and entertainment that takes place from the 15^th to the 23^rd of May, and like every year transforms the fishing village of Mondellointo a lively “tourist village”, unique in the world.  This year the opening of the World Festival on the Beach has been giving the important task of Mount Pellegrino’s first Triathlon – Aquathlon that will take place on Saturday the 15^th of May at 15.45.
“Another sporting chapter that makes even richer the list appointments to be held at the event that  - declares Vincenzo Pottino, President of the Albaria Club – from last year has been inserted in the Sicilian Regional Councils tourism events calender.  A sign that the Festival offers a positve expression for Sicily.
Valid as Regional team Championships  Italy’s central and southern areas, Mount Pellegrino’s first Triathlon is announced as a captivating sporting event  where the hard work from the athletes involved in the triple race shows a lot of attraction from the spectators.
The triathlon is to be carried out in  “mini triathlon” distances, there are exactly 200metres of swimming, 6 kilometres of cycling and one and a half of running.  Riccardo Di Liberto, Francesco Lombardo, Francesco Armetta and Alberto Cantiello are the Iron Teams strong points.  The Youth Regional Championships and the Youth Regional Trophy are also to be held.
