AT THE WORLD FESTIVAL ON THE BEACH 2006
MUSIC SHOWS ON RADIO 105 AND RADIO MONTECARLO
Two radios One world. Radio 105 and Radio Montecarlo will be at the 21st
edition of the World Festival on the Beach in Mondello from the 15th to
the 21st of May. The two radio stations will participate at the event to
make even stronger the evenings of music, which this year as in other
editions of the World Festival on the Beach will have a surprise
program, and will make sure there is music for all tastes. A program
that is known for its quality, as many artists have witnessed in the
past editions who have played at the World festival on the Beach or who
simply just wanted to attend the festival.
In this setting the attendance of Radio 105 and Radio Montecarlo, two
radio stations that offer different kinds of music to its audience, the
same as what the World Festival on the Beach has to offer, music to make
everyone pleased.
In fact Radio 105, turns towards a very young audience, that love pop,
rock and dance music. Radio Montecarlo goes towards a more mature
audience that like soft music and jazz, which will be protagonist for
the fifth time at the World Festival on the beach.
Statement made by the Radio 105 Director Angelo De Robertis:
We’ll be participating with great enthusiasm at the 21st edition of
the World festival on the Beach because for us Sicily is a region which
is strategically important for us. We can let people get to know even
better our radio stations, Radio 105 and Radio MonteCarlo to the young
Sicilian people which we hope appreciate as we deserve our sounds and
our professionalism.
Statement made by the President of the Albaria Vincenzo Pottino:
We as the organisers are happy about the presence at the World
Festival on the Beach two radio stations that fit in perfectly with the
spirit of the event, linking one (Radio105) to a younger audience with
pop music , and the other (Radio Montecarlo) with the New Jazz Festival
on the Beach, which has now reached its fifth edition. The involvement
of these two radio stations, along with other partners participating in
the organisation, can only make the atmosphere more interesting and
thrilling in Mondello for the World Festival on the Beach’s 21st
Birthday.
