MONDELLO CAPITAL OF SAILING AND FUN
This morning has been presented the Twenty-seventh edition of the World Festival on the Beach in Mondello. Five days of competitions and events organized by the Circle Albaria.
The press conference was attended by the President of Albaria Vincenzo Pottino, the general manager of the club Vincenzo Baglione, the regional president of CONI Giovanni Caramazza and the technical director of the National Sailing Paolo Ghione.
The main event of this edition will be represented by the European Championship windsurfing competitions open RS: X, with the participation of Alessandra Sensini, Federico Esposito and Marco Baglione, athletes of the Italian national team (the first two will participate in the Olympic Games in London).
The Twenty-seventh edition of the Festival will give space to other sporting achievements. This Saturday Mauro Giaconia will be crossing the part of sea from San Vito Lo Capo to Mondello by swimming.
Not only sport in Mondello, as every year. The main side-event will be a concert this Saturday, with Steve Edwards (at 10:00pm), the lead House music that singed with international stars such as David Guetta and Bob Sinclar, will be performing on the stage in Piazza Valdesi.
